"I graduated from ECHS over thirteen years ago and three years ago I became a teacher at Heritage Elementary after teaching overseas for a number of years. It’s a privilege to work with a number of my former teachers who impacted my life in such a meaningful way. I now have that same opportunity to reach, impact, and educate a new generation of white tigers." - Stephen Greiner, Teacher & Alumnus
"The fact that you and your teachers look after the performance of my daughter is special. My wife and I have both noticed that ECHS is student focused. That is unusual for any school in California that I have seen. I appreciate the effort ECHS takes to help make students successful." - Jim Fitzgerald, Parent
"As an alumna I can attest to the positive impact that Escondido Charter High School has had on my life. I have always felt ahead of the curve in academia. The rigor and effort my former teachers (now colleagues) expected of me drove me to succeed where many of my collegiate peers failed. The teachers genuinely care for the students and provide the best learning experience possible." - Tamara El-Hayek, Teacher & Alumna
College Bound
At Escondido Charter High School, we believe it is important to prepare students to attend a four-year university after they graduate from high school. To help our students and parents reach that goal, we offer a series of informative grade-specific seminars that walk them through the academic challenges of high school and prepare them to make the transition from high school to college.
The Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) is the agency that provides accreditation to schools and universities in the western United States. Escondido Charter High School recently received a renewal of its accreditation.
